Painted by Alex Rudegeair
Alex’s art which scales mediums, subject and style is held together by his fascination of figure and fantasy. Much of which depicts moments in a time that does not exist– of subjects that do not exist. There’s a land of great blue skies and quirky character, filled with irony, love and tragedy– this place is Alex’s retreat, a “Shangri-la” of sorts.
Though this fantasy land is the preferred artistic thread, his eye for design can bleed out to produce a more contemporary arrangement of color and subject.
