Alex Rudegeair
 

Alex is New York based artist, furniture maker and hat maker with over a decade of design and fabrication experience. From whole home custom design and construction, to fine art, Alex is a jack of all trades who has managed to weave his many experiences into a multidisciplinary vision and artistic philosophy.

Alex is the former founder, lead designer and builder of a custom fabrication company called Rude Design + Build Studio, which operated from 2013 to 2018. Founded at the age of 21, Alex grew Rude DBS from a small custom furniture shop in a garage to a premier commercial and residential design and fabrication company operating out of a 15,000 square foot shop in Lancaster, PA. Rude DBS took on a range of projects from the interior design of restaurants, breweries and retail spaces, to custom office outfittings, residential kitchens, furniture and interior/exterior features and small structures. Some of his most notable clients were, Nike, Converse, Jack Antinoff, Yamaha Guitars and Rock Lititz.
